Classroom Presentations

During our presentations, I found that Courtney Lavoie's journalist was the most intriguing. Her journalist was Anna Wintour who currently works for Vogue magazine. There is one specific reason why Anna stood out to me the most about her personal life. When she turned 16, she dropped out of school because she had a dream and decided to take action. What is very interesting is that knowing that fact, she still became very successful in her career and is still successful today.
If I could choose any of these journalist's career to be my own, It would have to be Chris Broussard's. Chris reminds me of myself in so many ways, I would almost consider it a coincidence. Mr. Broussard lives, breathes, and sleeps sports. He loves and enjoys talking and thinking about sports with friends or even by himself. His most desirable sport, which is also my favorite, is basketball. Most of his work that is seen or heard of nowadays is basketball related.
Getting credit for completely lying to the public is wrong on many different levels in my eyes. I would avoid a career, or failure of a career, that Janet Cooke has been through. She is currently unemployed and may not find work for a long time. In my opinion, she gets what she deserves.

  1. Caleb, I agree with you. Janet Cooke is a low life and if i was going to avoid a career it would definitely be hers. Chris Broussard is a cool guy and I like that you can relate him so much.

    1. Caleb, I agree with you when you say that Janet Cooke "got what she deserved." I like how you could relate to Broussard so much, and I enjoy how you explained Anna Wintour's career.

  2. Courtney's was interesting. Now a days it is hard to find a job if your a drop out. Then again it is hard to find a job even when you do graduate. Too many people in such a little town. Not enough jobs available. If you love sports as much as you say, would you consider trying to make it in life playing a game you love??
